Approach
Diplomatic English is available seven days a week, 365 days a year. Courses take place between 08:00 and 20:00 although training is also available outside of these hours upon request.
Suitable tailored and published materials will be used throughout your course, with recommendations on self-study material and extra reading made at the beginning and throughout the duration of your course.
Diplomatic English is available as an intensive course although the most appropriate formats and learning platforms will be discussed during your diagnostic consultancy.

Your Diplomatic English course trainer will be assigned to you following the results of your diagnostic consultancy according to your objectives and areas of focus. Detailed below is a sample profile of a member of our public sector English language training team.
GS
Having started his career as a lecturer in Economics, GS then moved into the Ministry of Commerce in Belfast as an Economist. He later held posts in Scotland and Hong Kong before returning to London as Economic Adviser at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office. After gaining his PhD, he worked in the Enforcement Section, Immigration and Nationality at the Home Office. His next secondment took him back to Ireland as Private Secretary to the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland in 1986, and he remained there as Secretary to the Northern Ireland Standing Advisory Commission on Human Rights until the early 1990s.
He returned to London in 1992 to take up a post as Head of the United Kingdom Central Authority for International Judicial Cooperation. Most recently he has worked as Head of the International Police Cooperation Section at the Home Office.
He also holds a full teaching qualification and works on Communicaid’s intensive programmes combining his extensive diplomatic experience with English language training. Most recent clients for Communicaid include: The Ministry for Economic Affairs (The Netherlands)
