Business English Course Detail

Format

The format of your course is determined following a diagnostic consultancy with you.  This comprises a language skills assessment and a discussion of your objectives and needs in order to design a programme to meet your specific language needs.  We appreciate that the demands of your work mean that our language courses need to combine results-focused training with flexibility. This is always at the forefront with any proposal, format or course duration we recommend.

Language course format options available include:

- Extensive: individual 1.5 - 2 hour sessions scheduled once or twice a week.
- Intensive: weeklong sessions combining individual and group sessions.

Duration

Communicaid’s diagnostic consultancy process includes discussion on course duration. Once an understanding is established of your abilities and objectives, we recommend the necessary course length commitment needed.  Course lengths may vary from intensive 3-day programmes to extensive ongoing training over a number of months.

Schedule

Intensive English sessions are usually scheduled between 10:00- 17:00 daily, with a week’s course commencing on the Monday.

Communicaid’s standard operating hours are Monday to Friday, 08:00- 20:00.  Should you require sessions outside these core hours, subject to trainer availability, Communicaid will be happy to make necessary arrangements on your behalf.

Please note that classes scheduled outside core Communicaid operating hours are subject to a surcharge.  Please discuss this in advance with your Communicaid Client Manager if you wish to include sessions during non-core hours.

Cost

As all our courses are tailored according to your needs, full training fees will be provided to you in the proposal following your diagnostic consultancy session with Communicaid.  However, the following is Communicaid’s standard published price list for all general and specialist English courses:

Level

Where a delegate has prior knowledge of English, Communicaid will undertake an English language skills assessment before proceeding with recommendations for the course. Depending on your English level, a programme will be prepared for you outlining key areas for development and appropriate objectives will be set.

Where delegates are to be organised into groups, Communicaid takes very seriously the compatibility of learner start levels and will seek to advise on appropriate groupings as necessary.

All Communicaid language delegates are assessed against Communicaid’s Guide to Levels which has been aligned to the Common European Framework standards.   Please click here to assess your level.
