Language Course Detail

Format

The format of your course is determined following a diagnostic consultancy with you.  This comprises a language skills assessment and a discussion of your objectives and needs so that we may make the best recommendations for your training requirement.  We appreciate that your work commitments require our language courses to combine results-focused training with flexibility. This need is at the forefront of any language training proposal we make.

Course format options available range from extensive 1.5 -2 hour sessions scheduled once or twice a week through to intensive, weeklong sessions where an immersion in the language is required.

A sample of just some of the format options available is illustrated below:

Communicaid’s standard operating hours are Monday to Friday, 08:00- 20:00.  Should you require sessions outside these core hours, subject to trainer availability, Communicaid will be happy to make necessary arrangements on your behalf.

Please note that classes scheduled outside core Communicaid operating hours are subject to a surcharge.  Please discuss in advance with your Client Manager if you wish to include sessions during non-core hours.

Level

Where a delegate has prior knowledge of the target language, Communicaid will undertake a free of charge language skills assessment prior to proceeding with making recommendations for the course.  Depending on your level, a programme will be prepared for you outlining key areas for development and appropriate objectives will be set.

Where delegates are to be organised into groups, Communicaid takes very seriously the compatibility of learner start levels and will seek to advise on appropriate groupings as necessary.

All Communicaid language delegates are assessed against Communicaid’s Guide to Levels which has been aligned to the Common European Framework standards.   Please click here to view the chart.
