Cross-cultural Communication

ENQUIRE NOW

Leanna Caron, Senior Director,  European Marketing, Genzyme Europe

“I really enjoyed the cross-cultural theory and mix of references.  Our trainer managed to get people of all levels in the team involved, whether our admin staff or associate directors.”

Why Cross-cultural Communication training?  Cross-cultural teams can offer a vast array of benefits and can add value to international companies.  However, many cross-cultural team members often face tremendous difficulties when communicating with each other.  These difficulties can create severe misunderstandings and lead to tensions and frustrations within the team.  If not addressed, they can eventually lead to significant financial losses and setbacks for global companies.

Cross-cultural Communication training helps members of cross-cultural teams to understand the impact of culture on their own and others’ communication style.  Through a complete analysis of the different components of verbal and non-verbal communication, delegates will be able to communicate more effectively across cultures and reduce the risk of cross-cultural misunderstandings.  Delegates attending a cross-cultural communication training course will also be able to develop strategies to overcome the challenges created by extensive use of virtual communication methods such as emails or teleconferences.

Designed in close co-operation with you and your organisation, a Cross-cultural Communication training course will help you to set communication ground rules and best practice within your cross-cultural team.  Equipped with extensive cultural knowledge and practical tools, cross-cultural team members will be able to choose the most appropriate communication channels and co-operate more effectively to achieve outstanding results.
