Emma Gibson, Sweet and Maxwell

“I found the training both interesting and enjoyable.  It really helped me understand Indian culture.”

Why Cross Cultural Training India?  While India’s economy has been propelled into the twenty first century by its impressive growth, its society and culture can - from a Western perspective - often seem based on highly traditional values. In order for international organisations doing business in India or employing Indian staff to get the most out of business ventures in India, an understanding of Indian culture and the ability to decipher its effects on business interactions and practices is essential. Cross cultural training India is a programme designed precisely to meet this requirement.

The influence of India’s old caste system can still be seen today in the hierarchical and collective attitudes present in Indian social and business culture.  Religious values of karma and fatality found in many religions in India also influence Indian business culture and working practise like decision making.  Cross cultural awareness training will help anyone doing business in India understand these and other Indian influences on business and social culture.

Understanding the influence cultural values, assumptions and perceptions have on individual and group behaviour are key to successfully doing business in India.  A lack of awareness and knowledge about what motivates your Indian counterparts and how they work and communicate can result in huge misunderstandings that can make or break lucrative business deals in India.  By highlighting how cultural values characteristic of India  influence business interactions with Indian business partners, Cross Cultural Training India programmes can help international organisations doing business in India harness cultural differences and turn them into a source of competitive advantage.

Communicaid’s Cross Cultural Training India courses will raise your cultural awareness and enable you to communicate and work effectively with Indian colleagues.  Designed in close collaboration with you and your organisation, our Cross Cultural Awareness Training India courses will provide you with the required skills and knowledge to develop your cross cultural awareness and enable you to work more effectively with Indian counterparts.
