Allison Lucas, Yum!

“Training was perfectly structured, very conversation based and interactive as I had requested.  The trainer was really insightful and ensured training was highly personalised.”

Why Cross Cultural Training UK?  Given the widespread use of English as an international language for business combined with the openness of the British economy to international organisations, it can be easy to underestimate the cross cultural differences your company is likely to encounter when doing business in the UK.  Communicaid’s Cross Cultural Training UK programmes are designed to increase your cross cultural awareness and understanding of British business and social culture to ensure your effectiveness when doing business in the United Kingdom.

Just as modern Britain is a unique multicultural society, where the influences of the twentieth century meet older traditions that date back from the years of empire and global trade, modern UK business culture maintains specific traits.  Deciphering British business culture and understanding how it affects business interactions with UK counterparts is essential for anyone doing business in the UK.  This is particularly true for organisations who deal with companies in England, Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland on a regular basis, coming into direct contact with UK business culture.  Such organisations may find their British counterparts’ way of leading meetings, holding negotiations or communicating virtually or face-to-face profoundly different from their own.  This may be down to cross cultural differences in national culture as well as to differences in corporate culture.

Communicaid considers all of these cross cultural factors when designing Cross Cultural Training UK programmes.  Providing insight into the cross cultural differences between your organisation and your UK business partners, both at a national and corporate level, cross cultural awareness training gives you the tools and skills you need to effectively deal with cultural differences you might face when doing business in the UK.  Failure to recognise and develop strategies to deal with cross cultural differences can lead to serious misunderstandings affecting mutual trust between all parties involved.

By providing a concrete set of cross cultural skills and know-how for doing business in UK effectively, Communicaid’s Cross Cultural Training UK programme will give you the competitive advantage over your competitors.  Communicaid’s cross cultural awareness training focuses on the unique drivers and practices of UK business culture to ensure you are aware of the cross cultural risks of doing business in the UK leading to more profitable and productive relationships with British suppliers, clients and colleagues.
