Why International Team Building? The last decade has seen the rise of international teams spanning countries and continents. Made up of professionals of diverse nationalities and backgrounds, international teams face unique challenges. In addition to logistical obstacles, such as different time zones and distance, all international team members bring their own attitudes, perceptions and beliefs to the team. These differences may cause significant clashes, since issues such as leadership, management and consultation styles, decision-making, conflict resolution and trust have potentially very different meanings in the different cultures represented within each international team.
In response to the growing needs of organisations and their international teams, Communicaid has developed International Team Building. This course aims to assist managers, HR professionals and international team members to develop the intercultural competence and communication skills required when team building.
