“Very well presented – showing how the culture was derived and developed rather than simply presenting the cultural differences.”

Why Doing Business in Angola? Located on the west coast of Africa, Angola is characterised by its unique culture which has been influenced by a variety of African traditions as well as 500 years of Portuguese colonial rule.  Angola’s increasing political stability and its vast oil resources, which contribute about 85% of the country’s GDP, have resulted in a significant economic growth rate.  Since the end of the civil war in 2002, the Angolan economy has experienced a high growth in the construction and agriculture sectors as well as increased political and economic stability.  This combined with Angola’s large supply of natural resources make it an increasingly attractive place for foreign investment.  An understanding of the cultural background and nuances of Angolan social and business culture is paramount for any organisation doing business in Angola.

Communicaid’s Doing Business in Angola cultural awareness courses are intended for professionals and teams who wish to conduct business in Angola and to build more successful business relationships with Angolan colleagues, suppliers and clients.  Doing Business in Angola will help you develop the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively do business in Angola by providing a combination of in-depth background information, practical tips and strategies for dealing with cultural differences in Angola.
