Joe Graham, HBOS

“The training was well sequenced and enthusiastically explained."

Why Doing Business in Croatia?  Croatia, located in the heart of Central Europe, is a country rich in culture and heritage.  Since its independence from Yugoslavia in 1991, Croatia has been recovering from authoritarian nationalism and the devastation of war.  Croatia is gradually overcoming its challenges and has become the second former Yugoslav republic to apply for EU membership and hopes to join by 2010.  Croatia’s membership of the WTO has helped to increase growth in consumer spending, productivity and exports as well as the tourism industry.  Today, Croatia’s improving economy and position within Europe makes it an increasingly ideal location for business investments.  However, doing business in Croatia can be challenging without an understanding of its unique culture. Knowledge of Croatian values and attitudes and how they impact Croatia’s social and business cultures will help prevent any misunderstandings and potential business failures.

Communicaid’s Doing Business in Croatia cultural awareness courses are specifically tailored to those who wish to take advantage of this emerging market. These courses are for those who hope to gain a better understanding of the cultural aspects that influence the business approaches and working practices in Croatia.  Doing Business in Croatia will provide you with the tips and strategies to successfully conduct business in Croatia which will help you to develop successful working relationships with Croatian clients and colleagues.
