After graduating from the University of Durham with a first class degree in Spanish, AB moved to Barcelona where she lived for most of the following decade. She worked extensively as a freelance translator and interpreter with clients including La Vanguardia, The EU and Arthur Andersen and she also spent a year as communications co-ordinator for Olivetto advertising agency. In London, AB also translated for Norman Foster and spent six months as conference co-ordinator and interpreter for Cable and Wireless.
AB has recently completed an MA in Intercultural Communication at Anglia University and now works as a freelance intercultural training consultant. In addition to her formal qualifications and work experience overseas, AB’s extensive worldwide travel and interest in other languages and cultures make her an experience and empathetic cultural awareness trainer.
