Situated at the crossroads of Central Europe, the Czech Republic enjoys one of the most prosperous and stable economies of the post-Communist states. Since the fall of Communism, the country’s highly skilled and well-educated workforce, ability to produce low cost goods and services and central position within Europe all make the Czech Republic an obvious location for foreign investment.
Many international organisations are now either setting up in the Czech Republic or working with local partners and suppliers. For the international assignee, living and working in the Czech Republic can be an exciting and challenging experience and a failure to adapt to a new way of life and set of cultural rules can cause frustration and misunderstanding for both the employee and their family.
Communicaid’s Living & Working in The Czech Republic courses are designed to respond to the needs of international assignees by providing practical information and advice on the various aspects of living and working in The Czech Republic, as well as conveying an understanding of the underlying elements that shape Czech culture inside and outside the workplace.
