Living and Working in Greece

John Hunter, Operations Drilling Engineer Talisman Energy

“An excellent course which covered a lot of things we'd never even thought about asking."

Why Living and Working in Greece?  Known as the cradle of democracy, Greece is a country that celebrates the fusion of ancient history and modernity.  Greece is home to a number of breath-taking landscapes including the Mediterranean coast, Mount Olympus, the impressive Meteora formation and the beautiful Aegean islands.  Greek culture, characterised by Mediterranean lifestyles, religious traditions and ancient influences, has had significant impact on numerous European, Asian and African cultures.  Failure to understand and adapt to the unique set of cultural rules and behaviours when living and working in Greece can cause frustration, misunderstandings and an unsuccessful international assignment in Greece.
