Living and Working in Morocco

Michael Harradence, Cable & Wireless

"Excellent course. The trainer was friendly and knew his topic well."

Why Living and Working in Morocco? Situated in Northern Africa, Morocco is a country of strong Arabic tradition and a rich blend of Berber, European and African influences.  After having regained its independence in 1956, the constitutional monarchy remained largely bilingual, with French, Arabic and Berber dialects being spoken.  Morocco’s growing economy, rich cultural and historic heritage as well as the legendary hospitality of the Moroccans make this country an increasingly attractive choice for international business. An international assignment in Morocco can be a challenging and stressful experience however if not sufficiently prepared for the cultural differences that exist.

Failure to adapt to the Moroccan way of life and its unique set of cultural rules and behaviours can cause frustration, misunderstandings and an unsuccessful assignment in Morocco.  Communicaid’s Living & Working in Morocco courses are designed to provide practical information and advice on the various aspects of living and working in Morocco, and will also convey an understanding of the underlying elements that shape Moroccan business and social culture.
