Why Living and Working in Peru? Famous for its multiethnic culture and Incan civilisation, Peru attracts thousands of visitors every year. Although Peru has endured periods of civil unrest and economic difficulty in recent years, current government programmes and an increase in foreign investment are substantially improving the economy. Peruvians are known for their hospitality and welcoming nature towards foreigners, but an international assignment in Peru can still be challenging. Failure to understand the intricacies of Peruvian social and business culture can result in misunderstandings and frustration. A comprehensive understanding of Peruvian values and attitudes and their impact on Peruvian business culture is essential in order to successfully adjust to living and working in Peru.
Communicaid’s Living & Working in Peru courses will provide international assignees practical information and advice on the various aspects of living and working in Peru and a deeper appreciation of the underlying elements that shape Peruvian culture inside and outside the workplace.
