Located at the gateway between Europe and Asia, Turkey is a rapidly modernising country, proud of its rich history and traditions. Turkey’s dynamic economy is mix of modern industry and commerce together with a traditional agricultural sector and its recent liberalisation provides a secure environment for foreign investment. As a result, many international organisations, particularly in the manufacturing, automotive and electronics industries, are taking advantages of the huge opportunities in Turkey and are seconding senior managers and their technical teams to live and work in Turkey for a period of months or even years.
An international assignment in Turkey can be a challenging and stressful experience and a failure to adapt to a new set of cultural rules and behaviours can cause frustration and misunderstanding. Communicaid’s Living & Working in Turkey courses are designed to respond to the needs of international assignees by providing practical information and advice on the various aspects of living and working in Turkey, as well as conveying an understanding of the underlying elements that shape Turkey culture inside and outside the workplace
