Allison Lucas, Yum!

“Training was perfectly structured, very conversation based and interactive as I had requested. The trainer was really insightful and ensured training was highly personalised.”

Why Intercultural Training Germany?  Germany is the second largest country in Europe, its economy the third in the world and it is a prominent member of both NATO and the EU.  As such, German companies have such a worldwide presence and a global outlook that is can be  easy to forget that Germany’s national culture is both unique and diverse.  It is arguably Germany’s national culture that has spawned such global economic success, and Intercultural Training Germany programmes delivered by Communicaid offer valuable insight into it.

Communicaid’s Intercultural Training Germany programmes will provide you with a bespoke solution to meet your organisation’s unique international business needs.  Intercultural Training Germany will increase your awareness of culture and how it can affect business interactions, providing you with a set of skills to understand what drives your own behaviours and mindset.  With this foundation of knowledge and skills, Intercultural Training Germany will then develop your understanding of your German counterparts so that you can decipher relevant cultural variables and respond appropriately when doing business in Germany.

One area many people doing business in Germany struggle to grasp are two key German values: order and task orientation.  Understanding that business interactions in Germany tend to follow a pre-determined schedule with few diversions and a high focus on the task at hand will help you anticipate German meeting and negotiating practices.  Having an awareness of the aversion to risk many people in Germany may show will also help you when planning projects, negotiating deals or making a decision with German counterparts.

Communicaid’s Intercultural Training Germany programmes provide you with insight on the above as well as many other areas of German business culture that may cause intercultural misunderstandings when doing business in Germany.  Designed in close collaboration with you, Communicaid’s Intercultural Training Germany solutions are tailored through a Diagnostic Consultancy process that enables us to understand your organisation’s context and to the skill set of your employees.
