Kirsteen Magee, Supply Chain Coordinator Team Leader, Pfizer

“Overall a very interesting and valuable training session, which was delivered by someone who quite clearly was passionate about the subject matter.”

Why Intercultural Training Middle East?  The Middle East is a mosaic of countries and cultures spanning across Asia, Europe as well as Africa.  Despite such diversity the region’s countries and people share a characteristic set of beliefs and traditions that give it a clear and unique identity.  Understanding the key intercultural values and beliefs of the Middle East is vital for any organisation doing business in the Middle East. Communicaid’s Intercultural Training is designed to meet these needs.

This vast area of the globe includes a variety of countries, from associate EU member Turkey in the west to Iran in the east and Yemen in the south.  With over 200 million people speaking over 30 languages in these countries, the Middle East has one common, unifying cultural variable: the faith of Islam.  Understanding the impact of Islam on business interactions can make the difference between a successful and failed business venture in the Middle East.   Other relevant cultural elements that influence all interpersonal relations in the Middle East are the concepts of hierarchy, status, relationships and time.  The success of intercultural business interactions in the Middle East depends heavily on the ability to decipher these intercultural variables and react accordingly.

Communicaid’s Intercultural Training Middle East programmes are designed to raise both your intercultural competence and your understanding of Middle Eastern culture.  Intercultural Training Middle East programmes are especially beneficial for individuals building business relationships with Middle Eastern clients and suppliers, as well as any employee of companies currently doing business in the Middle East or exploring future business opportunities in the Middle East.

An Intercultural Training Middle East programme will provide you with an understanding of key intercultural values and assumptions in the Middle East to help you break down any stereotypes or perceptions and easily anticipate and deal with any intercultural differences when doing business in the Middle East.  Communicaid’s Intercultural Training Middle East programmes also provide delegates with a combination of in-depth intercultural information about the Middle East and hands-on practical tools and tips to help you benefit the most when doing business in the Middle East.  Through comprehensive discussions with key decision makers and delegates, Communicaid’s Intercultural Training Middle East courses will be tailored to your specific needs ensuring maximum impact to your context of doing business in the Middle East.
