Approach

 

Communicaid’s Kazakh courses are available seven days a week, 365 days a year. Training takes place between 08:00 and 20:00 although courses are also available outside of these hours upon request. 

Suitable tailored and published Kazakh course materials will be used throughout, with recommendations on self-study material and extra reading made at the beginning and during your Kazakh course.

Kazakh course trainer

 

All Communicaid Kazakh trainers are native speakers with at least 3 years’ professional Kazakh training experience.  In addition to relevant academic and linguistic qualifications and experience, many of our Kazakh trainers also possess considerable exposure and expertise in the professional world.

Your Kazakh trainer will be assigned to you following the results of your diagnostic consultancy according to your objectives and areas of focus.  Detailed below is a sample profile of a member of our Kazakh training team.

GBM

 

GBM started her career as a freelance language trainer, interpreter and translator in 1977. She is fluent in Kazakh, Russian, English and German.  GBM has taught a variety of professional Kazakh courses and has most recently delivered Kazakh courses at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office.

GBM has held senior academic posts at Almaty Business and Economics University, the International Republican Institute (Almaty Office), the Almaty Institute of Foreign Languages and the Almaty Institute of National Economy. From 1993 to 1997 she was a senior lecturer of Business English and Business German at the Department of International Economic Relations, of the Almaty Business and Economics University. 

 

Kазаk тілі – Facts about the Kazakh language

 

Kazakh is the official language of Kazakhstan. Over 8 million people speak Kazakh as their first language. The vast majority of Kazakh speakers are located in Kazakhstan but sizeable communities of Kazakh speakers can also be found in China, Mongolia, Afghanistan, Tajikistan, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Russia and Iran. 

 

Kazakh is a Western-Turkic language of the Altaic family of languages.  Its closest relations are Nogai and Karakalpak.  Kazakh possesses three main groups of dialects, North-eastern, Southern and Western but differences between them are considered to minor. 

 

Kazakh was originally written in Arabic script then using a Latin alphabetAfter 1940, the Cyrillic alphabet was introduced. Today, Kazakh is written using the Cyrillic alphabet with nine extra letters.
