Communicaid Winners At the Totally Expat Show (May 2011)

Communicaid saw an excellent turnout at the recent 2011 Totally Expat Show in London, Europe’s leading international mobility events aimed at global mobility professionals and expatriates.  This year the event saw more than 800 leading global mobility experts and professionals attend from multinational organisations including Tesco, KPMG, General Electric, Barclays, MBDA, Marks & Spencer and HSBC.

Communicaid’s exhibition stand provided opportunities for global mobility professionals and expatriates to find out more about our language, culture and communication training and consultancy solutions aimed specifically at ensuring the success of international working. 

We also ran a prize draw for a one day cultural awareness training programme valued at £3,500 which was won by the International Mobility team at EADS. 

This year Communicaid was delighted to be awarded first prize for the ‘Most Engaging Exhibition Team’ and runner up for the ‘Most Informative Stand’.

Our seminar, with security expert Brigadier John Deverell CBE, former EVP Head of Global Security at Invensys Plc was also a success.  In his seminar ‘Keeping your Employees Safe when Working Globally - How to Deal with Issues of Security and Culture’, John shared his unrivalled experience in the field of international security and highlighted the important role that culture plays in mitigating the risks of working internationally.
