The importance of good grammar and punctuation for business communication: The age of electronic communication has brought countless benefits to organisations and employees worldwide. Being able to converse with contacts via email, instant message and social forums has resulted in significant cost savings and enhanced profitability for companies. While there are numerous benefits to be made from embracing these new technologies, organisations and individuals can not be oblivious to the lack of structure, syntax and grammar that these new communication channels encourage. Recent research has shown how most post-graduates lack the confidence to write well and do not understand the basics of English grammar and punctuation.
The ability to write well, in a structured, clear and correct manner continues to be a key way for organisations to differentiate their brand from that of their competitors. The written word is permanent while the spoken word can be lost and forgotten.
Communicaid’s Grammar and Punctuation for Business Communication course will provide you with easy to use rules of English grammar, punctuation and spelling in a lively and open environment, enabling you to become a more confident and accurate business writer.
