LC is a seasoned Human Resources and Cultural Awareness Training professional with over 30 years experience in both strategic and operational HR. She has extensive international experience throughout Europe and Asia including five years spent living and working in Singapore.
LC has many years of “hands on” HR experience, working in blue chip companies in the financial services, business to business, publishing, airline and engineering companies in both UK/Europe and Asia- Pacific. She joined McGraw Hill Europe in 1998 where she was responsible for the HR function to over 16 European group companies and set up and implemented performance management programmes in addition to running training in recruitment, employment law and equal opportunities. She then relocated to Singapore as Human Resources Director for McGraw Hill Asia- Pacific and spent five years establishing the HR function for eleven growing businesses with 1100 professional staff in throughout the region. Her work involved spending time in all of these countries hiring and managing staff, negotiating with external vendors and delivering training.
LC now works as a consultant providing international organisations with cross cultural training, virtual team building and coaching programmes. She is frequently invited to speak at Conferences/Seminars, worldwide. LC has worked with numerous Communicaid clients including Barclays Bank, Cable & Wireless, Cadbury, Colt Telecommunications, Pfizer, SriLankan Airlines and Tesco. |
