As part of our participation at the recent FEM London Roadshow 2015, Communicaid delivered a seminar on how Global Mobility can work with Talent Management to select and develop the right international assignees.
Many organisations now recognise that selecting international assignees is much more than just do they have the right technical skills and are they willing to go? Assessing their ability to work (and succeed) in a different culture, deciding if an international assignment is the correct decision for their career development and preparing for the return back home all require careful planning and consideration.
Global Mobility has an important role to play in all of these questions. This seminar examines how Global Mobility can work strategically with Talent Management and Learning & Development teams to prepare their organisation’s talent for global success. In particular, the seminar examined:
- How a global mindset can ensure assignment success
- What intercultural assessment tools are available to Global Mobility
- Review of the competency framework of the psychometric assessment tool The International Profiler
- Overview of client case studies where these tools have supported Global Mobility teams
